This image was taken looking down the bow of the ship that brought our Apaches to port in Kuwait. I thought it looked like an interesting backdrop for something, so I cut myself out of a photo at the M9 range. I then made a duplicate copy of that layer and created the shadow by altering the skew, opacity, and gaussian blur. It ended up looking like something from Star Trek.
