I built this Jeep after I returned from Iraq. All of the Four Wheel Drive magazines have photos of 'readers rigs' in ridiculously muddy situations. The vehicles are often hopelessly stuck in some mudhole or upside-down. The readers submit detailed explanations of the modifications made to soup-up the vehicles for off-road use. The photos usually include guys with mullets drinking canned beer and lots of rebel flags.

I took this shot on Park Avenue in New York City to submit to the 4WD magazines as a contrast. This shot and others taken that night were actually published on one of their websites. I'm not sure if they ever appeared in the magazines, though.
